（王禹函、李宇/ 文）年近岁尾，寒意渐浓，2026 年新年与寒假假期的脚步日益临近。为精准掌握国际学生假期去向与生活需求，将关心关怀落到实处，12 月 24 日晚，国际教育学院副院长赵文带队，全体专兼职辅导员共同参与，深入工大嘉园 5 号楼、8 号楼、9 号楼、 10 号楼及二校区B01国际学生宿舍，开展暖心走访活动，用实际行动为寒冬里的国际学子送去温暖与新年祝福。
As the year draws to a close and the chill deepens, the arrival of the 2026 New Year and winter vacation is approaching. To accurately grasp the holiday plans and living needs of international students and ensure that care and concern are in place, on the evening of December 24, Zhao Wen, the Associate Dean of the College of International Education, led a team consisting of all full-time and part-time counselors to conduct heartwarming visits to Buildings No. 5, No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10 in HIT Homes as well as the B01 International Student Dormitory in the second campus area, delivering warmth and New Year greetings to international students amidst the winter cold.
走访中，全体专兼职辅导员重点关注学生学习生活上遇到的困难，并及时帮助学生解决。赵文与部分学生进入了深入交谈，鼓励来自不同国家的学子们互帮互助、包容理解，珍惜同住时光，在交流中增进跨国友谊。同时，辅导员们重点查看了宿舍暖气供应、用电安全及环境卫生状况，仔细排查插座接线、电器使用等潜在隐患，现场讲解防火防盗、防电信诈骗等安全知识，叮嘱同学们务必遵守宿舍管理规定，养成“人走断电、人走落锁” 的良好习惯。
During the visits, all full-time and part-time counselors focused on the difficulties encountered by students in their studies and daily lives and promptly assisted them in resolving these issues. Zhao Wen engaged in in-depth conversations with some students, encouraging students from different countries to help and understand one another, cherish the time they spend living together, and deepen cross-border friendships through communication. Meanwhile, the counselors focused on inspecting the heating supply, electrical safety, and environmental hygiene conditions in the dormitories. They carefully checked for potential hazards such as socket wiring and electrical appliance usage, provided on-site explanations of safety knowledge regarding fire prevention, theft prevention, and telecom fraud prevention, and urged students to strictly abide by dormitory regulations and cultivate good habits of turning off the power and locking the door when leaving.
此次寝室走访活动是国际教育学院落实“以人为本”教育理念的生动实践，传递出学院学工队伍对国际学生们的深切关怀，搭建起师生沟通的“连心桥”。未来，学院将持续完善 “一站式” 学生社区服务体系，常态化开展关心关爱活动，为国际学生打造安全、温馨、多元的成长环境，助力他们在跨文化交流中收获友谊、成长成才，成为中外文化交流的友好使者。
These dormitory visits serve as a vivid practice of the College of International Education's implementation of the people-oriented educational philosophy, conveying the profound care of the college's student affairs team for international students and building a bridge of communication between teachers and students. In the future, the college will continue to improve its one-stop student community service system, regularly organize caring activities, and create a safe, warm, and diverse growth environment for international students, helping them gain friendships, grow, and thrive through cross-cultural exchanges, and enabling them to become friendly ambassadors for cultural exchanges between China and their respective countries.
