近期是流行性腮腺炎传染病高发期，为保障同学们身体健康，维护正常教育教学秩序，现将预防措施告知如下，请大家认真阅读，积极配合。
流行性腮腺炎，是由病毒引起的急性呼吸道传染病，主要通过唾液飞沫传播（唾液及被患者唾液污染的物品均有传播性），传染性强，多见于儿童和青年人。部分有发热、头痛、乏力等前驱症状。l～2日后腮腺肿大，体温上升可达40℃。通常为双侧腮腺同时或先后肿大，以耳垂为中心，局部皮肤紧张发亮、灼热和触痛。腮腺肿大2～3日达高峰，说话或咀嚼食物时加重，有时还会出现张口困难、流口水等症状。以前没有得过“流腮”又没有接种预防“流腮”疫苗的人都容易感染，得病后可有免疫力。
请同学们一定加强公寓房间和个人卫生，每天开窗对流通风30分钟以上，合理膳食，提高免疫力。如申请外出必须全程戴好口罩，回到房间后认真洗手洗脸。如与确诊腮腺炎人员有过密切接触，请在21天内坚持每天自查身体状况。如有腮腺肿胀疼痛、发热等不适症状要尽快上报，及时就医，及早隔离，防止交叉传染！

A letter to International Students about Mumps Prevention and Treatment
Dear students,
In order to protect students' health and maintain normal education and teaching order, we hereby inform you of the following preventive measures. Please read them carefully and actively cooperate with us.
Mumps is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by a virus. It is mainly transmitted by droplets of saliva (saliva and objects contaminated by the patient's saliva are both transmissible). It is highly infectious and is more common in children and young people. Some have fever, headache, fatigue and other prodrome symptoms. After 1 ~ 2 days, the parotid gland enlarged and the body temperature rose up to 40℃. Usually bilateral parotid gland enlargement at the same time or successively, centered on the earlobe, local skin tension, shining, burning and tenderness. The parotid gland enlargement reached its peak in 2-3 days, aggravate when speaking or chewing food, and sometimes have difficulty opening the mouth and drooling. People who have not had MMR before and have not been vaccinated against MMR are susceptible to infection and may become immune after getting the disease.
Students must strengthen the apartment room and personal hygiene, open the window for more than 30 minutes a day, keep a reasonable diet, and improve immunity. If you apply to go out, you must wear a mask and wash your hands and face carefully after you return to your room. If you have had close contact with the person who has been diagnosed with mumps, please check your physical condition every day for 21 days. If there is parotid swelling, pain, fever and other discomfort symptoms to report as soon as possible, timely medical treatment, early isolation, to prevent cross-infection!
