To further advance the practical teaching of the “Great Ideological and Political Course” and expand new paths for ideological and political education, on July 12, 2025, the joint social practice team from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) held the unveiling ceremony of the “National Conditions Education Practice Base” of HIT College of International Education in Nanbeili Village, Xushui District, Baoding City, Hebei Province. This marks the official establishment of the national conditions education co-construction platform centered on Nanbeili Village.

The unveiling ceremony was held at Nanbeili Village Committee, with the attendance of teacher and student representatives from HIT College of International Education, HEBUT School of International Education, and cadres of Nanbeili Village. At the beginning of the event, the village committee representative introduced the efforts and achievements of Nanbeili Village in rural revitalization and cultural inheritance in recent years, and extended a warm welcome to the college students. Later, representatives from both sides jointly unveiled the “National Conditions Education Practice Base”, with warm applause and a solemn atmosphere at the scene.

基地建设以“非遗文化育人、乡村振兴助力”为双核驱动，依托南北里村舞狮技艺、智慧农业、红色资源等特色，结合“观、学、研、创”多形式实践路径，构建“课堂+田野”“理论+实操”“中外+共融”的沉浸式国情教育模式。未来基地将长期承接中外学生主题实践、调研写作、文化共建等活动，成为国际学生认知中国、讲述中国故事的重要一站。
The base is built with the dual-core drive of “educating through intangible cultural heritage and supporting rural revitalization”. Relying on Nanbeili Village’s characteristics such as lion dance techniques, smart agriculture, and red cultural resources, and combining multi-form practical paths of “observation, learning, research, and creation”, it constructs an immersive national conditions education model featuring “classroom + field”, “theory + practice”, and “Chinese-foreign integration”. In the future, the base will long-term host themed practices, research and writing, cultural co-construction activities for Chinese and foreign students, becoming an important stop for international students to understand China and tell Chinese stories.

In the afternoon, the practice team visited Xushui Party History Museum in Baoding City, Hebei Province. As an important red education base in Baoding, Xushui Party History Museum systematically shows the development process and glorious deeds of the Communist Party of China in Xushui area. Led by the narrator, members of the practice team visited six sections in turn, including “Sparks of Revolution Ignite”, “Flames of Anti-Japanese War”, “Dawn of Liberation”, “Footsteps of Construction”, “Waves of Reform”, and “March of the Era”, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the century-long struggle history of the local CPC organization in Xushui from its birth to development.
