泰国宋卡王子大学附属中学到访国际教育学院共话合作搭建中泰教育桥梁

        为深化中泰教育文化交流,拓宽国际人才培养渠道,近日,泰国宋卡王子大学附属中学校长MUHAMMADROFLEE WAEHAMA率代表团到访国际教育学院。院长赵异肖带领招生团队出席会谈,双方围绕教育合作、人才培养等议题深入交流,达成多项共识,并签署合作路线图,标志着两校合作迈出实质性步伐。

        To deepen educational and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand and broaden channels for international talent cultivation, a delegation from The Affiliated High School of Prince of Songkla University (Thailand), led by Principal MUHAMMADROFLEE WAEHAMA, recently visited the College of International Education. Dean Zhao Yixiao, together with the admissions team, attended the meeting. The two sides held in-depth discussions on educational cooperation and talent cultivation, reached a number of consensus, and signed a cooperation roadmap, marking substantial progress in cooperation between the two institutions.

        座谈会上,赵异肖对泰国代表团的到访表示热烈欢迎,并详细介绍了哈工大来华留学教育的办学特色、学科优势及育人成果。她指出,学校长期深耕国际教育领域,着力擦亮“留学哈工大”金字招牌,依托雄厚的工科实力和完善的国际学生支持体系,可为泰国学子提供多样化求学选择和成长平台,助力其成长为知华友华的青年使者。

       During the symposium, Zhao Yixiao extended a warm welcome to the Thai delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the distinctive features, disciplinary strengths, and educational achievements of HIT’s international student education programs. She noted that HIT has long been committed to advancing international education and to strengthening the “Study at HIT” brand. Backed by its strong engineering capabilities and comprehensive support system for international students, HIT is well positioned to provide Thai students with diverse study opportunities and development platforms, helping them grow into young envoys who understand China and foster friendship with China.

       MUHAMMADROFLEE WAEHAMA introduced the general profile and distinctive educational features of his school. As a well-known model secondary school in Thailand, the school is deeply committed to foundational education and places strong emphasis on cultivating students’ global perspectives, enjoying a strong local reputation. He noted that the outstanding achievements of HIT in the field of engineering and technology are highly impressive. This visit aims to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, promote the recruitment of high-quality students, and promote the sharing of educational resources, thereby creating broader development opportunities for Thai students.

       会谈期间,泰方随行教师参加了国教院组织的招生宣讲会,通过详细讲解与现场答疑,全面了解哈工大办学实力、留学政策及项目详情,为后续面向学生宣传推广奠定基础。会后,代表团在学院相关负责老师陪同下,参观了教学办公环境及校园标志性建筑,对哈工大的学术氛围和文化底蕴给予高度评价。

       During the talks, accompanying teachers from the Thai side attended an admissions information session organized by the College of International Education. Through detailed presentations and on-site Q&A, they gained a comprehensive understanding of HIT’s educational strengths, international student admission policies, and program details, laying a solid foundation for future outreach and promotion among students. After the session, accompanied by relevant faculty members from the college, the delegation toured the teaching and office facilities as well as the campus’s landmark buildings. They spoke highly of HIT’s academic atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.

       This visit has not only deepened mutual understanding but also built a bridge for the effective connection between China’s and Thailand’s basic and higher education. Moving forward, the College of International Education will take this cooperation as an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration with Thai universities, optimize the international student training system, attract more outstanding Thai students to pursue further studies at HIT, and jointly write a new chapter in China-Thailand educational exchanges and cooperation.
