为搭建中外文化交流桥梁，助力国际学生走出课堂、实地感知真实鲜活的中国，2026年6月22日至6月26日，在国家留学基金管理委员会主办、哈尔滨工业大学国际教育学院组织下，辅导员李宇、徐明璇带队，来自塞拉利昂、埃塞俄比亚、尼日利亚、卢旺达、缅甸等国的34名哈尔滨校本部及深圳校区的国际学生赴河南，开展了为期五天的“感知中国-豫见文明·根脉中国”主题研学实践活动。本次研学以中原大地为实景课堂，走访开封、郑州、安阳、洛阳四座文化名城，让国际学生在沉浸式实地研学中溯源华夏根脉，多角度感受中原文明的厚重与多元。
To build a bridge for Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, help international students step out of the classroom and perceive a real and vivid China on the spot, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and organized by College of International Education of HIT, a five-day themed study tour titled “Experiencing China—Henan’s Civilization, China’s Cultural Roots in Henan” was carried out in Henan from June 22 to June 26, 2026. Led by coordinators Li Yu and Xu Mingxuan, a total of 34 international students from Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Myanmar and other countries studying at HIT Harbin campus and Shenzhen campus joined the event. Taking the Central Plains as an open classroom, the tour covered four famous historical and cultural cities including Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Anyang and Luoyang, allowing international students to trace the origin of Chinese civilization and experience the profundity and diversity of Central Plains culture through immersive field research.
I. Experiencing Song Dynasty Charm, Integrity Culture and Intangible Heritage in Kaifeng
研学首站来到八朝古都开封，沉浸式体验宋代市井风情与古代廉政文化。在清明上河园，古朴的街巷景致复刻了北宋汴京的繁华盛景，《枪挑小梁王》《杨门女将》等经典豫剧轮番上演。生动的戏曲演绎鲜活展现了宋代的人文风貌与家国情怀，让国际学生近距离感受浓郁的大宋风韵。
The first stop of the study tour was Kaifeng, an ancient capital of eight dynasties, where students experienced the prosperous folk customs of the Song Dynasty and the ancient Chinese integrity culture. At Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, the antique streets and buildings perfectly reproduce the bustling scenery of Bianjing in the Northern Song Dynasty. Classic Yu Opera performances such as Defeating the Young Prince of Liao and Female Generals of the Yang Family were staged live. The vivid opera performances fully displayed the humanistic features and patriotism of the Song Dynasty, enabling international students to closely appreciate the elegant demeanour of the Great Song Dynasty.
随后，研学团队走进开封府，探寻中国古代廉政文化的深厚内涵。跟随讲解员的细致科普，国际学生深入了解北宋廉政制度与清官理政理念，体悟古人清正廉洁、勤政为民的治理智慧。随后，同学们参与了非遗拓印体验。手持完成的拓印作品，听非遗老师讲解其中的寓意，大家进一步加深了对中华传统文化的认知。
Afterwards, the team visited Kaifeng Fu to explore the connotation of ancient Chinese integrity culture. Under the detailed explanation of the docent, international students learned about the integrity system and official governance concepts of the Northern Song Dynasty, and understood the ancient people’s governance wisdom of being honest, upright and diligent for the people. In addition, students participated in the intangible cultural heritage rubbing experience. Guided by professional instructors and with their finished rubbings in hand, the students gained a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture by learning the cultural implications behind the artworks.
二、驻足商都文脉，溯源中原文明
II. Tracing the Origin of Central Plains Civilization in Zhengzhou
告别开封，团队前往省会郑州，走进河南省博物馆。作为河南核心文化地标，省博馆藏体系完整、文物丰富珍贵，是品读华夏文明的重要窗口。讲解员生动解读了河南简称“豫”的由来，阐释了远古先民驯服野兽、开垦沃土、孕育早期文明的历史渊源，通俗易懂的讲解让国际学生频频点头，明晰了中原文明的起源底色。从史前器物、商周青铜到唐宋瓷韵、明清书画，跨度万年的文物遗存，直观展现了中原文明绵延不绝的发展轨迹。来自塞拉利昂的学生感慨道：“中华文明历史悠久，生生不息，让人震撼。”
Leaving Kaifeng, the team headed to Zhengzhou and visited Henan Museum, a landmark cultural institution of Henan and an essential window to explore Chinese civilization with complete and precious collections. During the visit, the docent vividly explained the origin of the Chinese character “Yu” — the abbreviation of Henan Province. The character implies that ancient ancestors tamed elephants, cultivated fertile land and nurtured early civilization on the Central Plains. The easy-to-interpret explanation won constant nods from international students, who gained a clear understanding of the origin of Central Plains civilization. The museum’s collections span from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties, including prehistoric artifacts, bronze wares of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, porcelain of the Tang and Song dynasties, and paintings and calligraphy of later ages. These cultural relics intuitively demonstrate the continuous inheritance and development of Central Plains civilization. A student from Sierra Leone commented: “Chinese civilization has a long history and endless vitality, which is truly amazing.”
三、探寻安阳甲骨，解码汉字源流
III. Decoding Chinese Character Civilization from Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Anyang
如果说省博物馆全景展现了中原文明的发展全貌，那么安阳则道尽了汉字的魅力。走进中国文字博物馆，国际学生系统了解汉字从甲骨文、金文、小篆到隶书、楷书的千年演变过程，厘清了中华文字的传承脉络。为丰富研学体验，同学们跟随工作人员学习趣味甲骨文操，以肢体动作模拟象形文字，直观感受古文字的灵动意蕴。大家还逐一体验雕版印刷、甲骨文字书写等非遗项目，在亲手实操中溯源文字根脉、感受非遗魅力。来自缅甸的学生坦言：“中国文字古老又有趣，藏着古人的无穷智慧。”
If Henan Museum in Zhengzhou presents a panoramic view of Central Plains civilization, Anyang interprets the unique charm of ancient Chinese characters. Entering the National Museum of Chinese Writing, international students systematically learned the evolution of Chinese characters from oracle bone inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, small seal script, clerical script to regular script, sorting out the inheritance context of Chinese characters spanning thousands of years. To enrich the learning experience, they followed the staff to learn the interesting oracle bone character exercises, simulating hieroglyphs with body movements and perceiving the vivid charm of ancient characters intuitively. Students also experienced woodblock printing and oracle bone writing, tracing the root of Chinese characters and feeling the glamour of intangible cultural heritage through hands-on practice. One from Myanmar said: “Ancient Chinese characters are interesting and embody the great wisdom of ancient people.”
四、寻访神都古韵，巧手传承非遗
IV. Exploring Ancient Charm and Inheriting Intangible Heritage in Luoyang
研学最后一站，团队抵达十三朝古都洛阳，为本次中原研学之旅圆满收官。同学们先后探访龙门石窟、白马寺与洛阳博物馆，欣赏庄严精美的石窟造像、清幽古朴的古刹风貌，观赏工艺精湛的唐三彩等馆藏珍品，快速领略洛阳千年古都的历史底蕴。依托洛阳牡丹文化特色，同学们在洛邑古城参与了牡丹剪纸实践课程。在老师的耐心示范与指导下，大家认真学习裁剪、构图、修边等基础技艺，亲手制作牡丹剪纸作品，在趣味满满的动手实践中，真切体会到中国传统民俗非遗的独特美感。
The final stop was Luoyang, an ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, marking a perfect ending to the Central Plains cultural journey. Students visited Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple and Luoyang Museum. They admired the solemn and exquisite grotto statues, the serene ancient temple scenery, and the well-preserved tri-color glazed pottery and other precious cultural relics, experiencing the profound historical heritage and inclusive spirit of Chinese culture. Centering on Luoyang’s peony cultural feature, the students attended a peony paper-cutting intangible cultural heritage course in Luoyi Ancient City. Under the patient demonstration and guidance of teachers, they learned basic skills including composition, cutting and trimming, and created their own peony paper-cut works. Through the interesting hands-on practice, international students truly appreciated the unique beauty of traditional Chinese folk intangible cultural heritage.
本次“感知中国”河南研学活动，串联开封、郑州、安阳、洛阳四城特色文脉，集宋韵风情、廉政文化、万年文脉、汉字源流、古都风貌与非遗民俗于一体，为国际学生打造了全方位、沉浸式的中华文化课堂。同学们走出校园、实地研学，在行走中感悟历史、在实践中理解文化，有效打破了文化隔阂、深化了文化认知，为讲好中国故事、传播中华优秀传统文化积累了鲜活的实践经验。
This “Experiencing China” study tour connected the distinctive cultures of Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Anyang and Luoyang, integrating Song Dynasty customs, ancient integrity culture, millennial Central Plains civilization, Chinese character evolution, ancient capital style and intangible folk heritage. It provided international students with an all-round and immersive classroom for understanding Chinese culture. By stepping out of the campus and learning from practice, students broke cultural barriers and deepened their recognition of Chinese civilization. The activity has accumulated valuable practical experience for telling authentic Chinese stories and inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture worldwide.
