从博物馆到智能工厂，从历史文脉到非遗工坊——哈工大国际学生用脚步丈量胶东，用心灵感知中国。
From museums to smart factories, from historic background to intangible cultural heritage workshops, international students of Harbin Institute of Technology have traversed the Jiaodong region with their footsteps and gained an intimate understanding of China with their hearts.
6月28日至7月1日，哈尔滨工业大学国际教育学院组织43名国际学生，在带队老师李永琦、卢静静带领下，开启“感知中国——胶东海洋国情调研”实践活动。横跨青岛、威海两座滨海城市，同学们走进文博场馆、龙头企业、历史古迹，在烈日与海风中，沉浸式品读中国产业的腾飞脉动与传统文化的隽永魅力。
From June 28 to July 1, the College of International Education, Harbin Institute of Technology organized 43 international students to embark on the practical activity Discover China – Jiaodong Marine National Conditions Research, under the guidance of coordinators Li Yongqi and Lu Jingjing. Traversing the two coastal cities of Qingdao and Weihai, the students visited cultural museums, leading enterprises and historical sites. Amid blazing sunshine and sea breezes, they immersed themselves in experiencing the surging momentum of China’s industrial development and the timeless charm of its traditional culture.
调研团首站走进青岛市博物馆，从青铜器到古籍善本，国际学生们驻足细观，在讲解中读懂齐鲁大地的千年文脉。“原来中华文明可以如此具象地呈现在眼前。”国际学生们纷纷感叹。
The research group’s first stop was Qingdao Museum. From bronze artifacts to rare ancient books, international students paused to observe closely and gained an understanding of the millennia-long cultural lineage of Qilu Land through professional explanations. Chinese civilization can be presented so vividly right before our eyes, the international students exclaimed one after another.
随后，大家来到海尔世界家电博物馆——从80年代的老式冰箱到全屋智能家居，一条时间走廊清晰呈现了中国制造业从“跟跑”到“领跑”的蝶变。学生们边体验语音控制家电，边拍照记录：“这就像一部活的科技史教科书。”
The group then visited the Haier World Home Appliance Museum. Featuring vintage refrigerators dating back to the 1980s alongside whole-house smart home systems, a chronological corridor vividly demonstrates the transformative evolution of China’s manufacturing sector from a follower to a global leader. While testing voice-controlled household appliances, the students took photos to document the experience. “This is just like a living textbook of technological history,” they remarked.
青岛啤酒博物馆则用百年工业建筑与仍在运转的酿造线，讲述了一个民族品牌如何从胶东走向世界的励志故事。看着流水线上整齐排列的瓶罐，同学们纷纷举起手机，定格这份“中国味道”的工业美学。
The Tsingtao Beer Museum, with its century-old industrial buildings and fully operational brewing production lines, tells an inspiring story of how a national brand expanded its reach from Jiaodong to the world. Watching neatly arranged bottles and cans on the assembly line, the students took out their mobile phones one after another to capture the industrial aesthetics behind this iconic Taste of China.
乘坐中国高铁转场威海，师生一行登上刘公岛，走进中国甲午战争博物馆。锈迹斑斑的舰炮、泛黄的电报文稿、沉重的战事浮雕……历史的烟云扑面而来。国际学生们沉默地穿行于展陈之间，透过那段跌宕岁月，真切感受到中华民族虽历经苦难却始终坚韧不屈的精神力量。
Taking China’s high-speed rail to travel to Weihai, the team of teachers and students set foot on Liugong Island and visited the Sino-Japanese War of 1894–1895 Museum. Rust-covered naval guns, yellowed telegraph manuscripts, solemn war relief sculptures… The weight of history swept over the visitors. The international students walked silently through the exhibition halls. Through that turbulent period, they truly felt the resilient and unyielding spiritual strength of the Chinese nation amid countless hardships.
“今天我明白了，和平从来不是理所当然的。”一位来自非洲的学生在参观后写道，“中国人民珍视安定、自强不息的品格，值得世界尊重。”
Today I have come to understand that peace is never something to be taken for granted, an African student wrote after the tour. The Chinese people value peace and stability and constantly strive for self-improvement, a character that commands respect from all over the world.
产业参访环节，调研团走进威高集团。讲解员围绕医疗护理创新产品、安全输液整体解决方案等核心成果，向学生们细致讲解民族医疗企业自主研发、深耕大健康产业的发展历程。同学们走进产品展厅，近距离观摩医疗器械展品，惊叹于中国高端医疗装备产业的飞速发展，切实看到中国实体经济高质量发展的强劲动能。
During the industrial visit session, the research group paid a visit to WEGO Group. The presenter elaborated on core achievements including innovative medical care products and integrated safe infusion solutions, and gave the students a detailed account of the development journey of this domestic medical enterprise featuring independent research and development and in-depth cultivation of the general health industry. The students entered the product exhibition hall to observe medical devices up close. They marveled at the rapid advancement of China’s high-end medical equipment industry and witnessed firsthand the robust driving force behind the high-quality development of China’s real economy.
在非遗工坊，同学们亲手操作传统皮影戏，人偶在光影间翻腾跳跃，引来阵阵欢笑；又拿起刻锤，体验威海铜版画制作，将帆船、海浪等胶东元素细细雕入铜版。一幅幅亲手完成的画作，成为他们此行最独特的“中国记忆”。
At the intangible cultural heritage workshop, the students operated traditional shadow puppetry by hand. The puppet figures leapt and danced amid light and shadow, drawing bursts of laughter. They then picked up carving hammers to experience Weihai copper plate printmaking, meticulously carving Jiaodong elements such as sailing boats and ocean waves onto copper plates. The artworks they finished with their own hands have become the most unique memories of China from this trip.
一路行走，一路感悟。“这次实践打破了我在书本里建立的中国印象。”多位学生表示，亲眼所见的城市面貌、产业活力与文化传承，远比想象中更丰富、更动人。“我会把这段经历讲给家人和朋友，做真实的中国故事传播者。”
Every mile of the trip brought profound reflections. This field trip has broken my preconceived impressions of China gained only from textbooks, many students commented. The urban scenery, industrial vitality and cultural heritage they saw with their own eyes are far more diverse and touching than they had imagined. I will share this experience with my family and friends and become a communicator of authentic Chinese stories.
国际教育学院将持续打造“感知中国”国情实践品牌，组织更多国际学生走出校园，走进产业一线、历史现场、文化阵地，不断增进中外青年彼此理解，架起文明互鉴的友谊桥梁。
The College of International Education will continue to foster the national conditions practice brand Discover China. It will organize more international students to step out of campus and visit frontline industrial sites, historical venues and cultural hubs.
