9月18日至20日，由国家留学基金管理委员会主办、兰州交通大学承办的 “感知中国・筑通丝路” 土木工程成果与中外学生学术对话会在兰州举行，旨在搭建中外学生学术交流平台、展示土木工程科技创新成果。我校国际教育学院国际学生SEANGKRU SRENG（辛海辰）、MWOLO WHITNEY JAMES（詹姆斯）受邀参会。活动汇聚全国土木强校国际学生，围绕智能建造、智能防灾、“一带一路”国际合作等主题开展学术研讨与国情教育。
From September 18 to 20, the 2026“Experience China · Building the Silk Road”Civil Engineering Achievements and Academic Dialogue Forum Between Chinese and Foreign Students was held in Lanzhou. Organized by the China Scholarship Council and hosted by Lanzhou Jiaotong University, the forum aimed to build an academic exchange platform for Chinese and international students and showcase the latest achievements in civil engineering innovation. SEANGKRU SRENG and MWOLO WHITNEY JAMES , international students from the College of International Education of HIT, were invited to attend. Gathering international students from leading civil engineering universities across China, the forum featured academic discussions and national conditions education on topics including intelligent construction, intelligent disaster prevention, and international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
9月19日，学术对话会开幕式在兰州交通大学隆重举行。开幕式后，业内权威专家围绕从丝绸之路到“一带一路”、寒区道路工程研究、中国智能高铁发展三个方面作主旨报告，为中外学生展示科技创新成果、带来高水平的科研思路启发。主旨报告结束后，参会学生集体参观了道桥工程灾害防治技术国家地方联合工程实验室。
On September 19, the opening ceremony of the forum was held at Lanzhou Jiaotong University. Following the ceremony, renowned experts delivered keynote speeches on three themes — from the Silk Road to the Belt and Road, research progress in cold region road engineering, and the development of Chinese intelligent high-speed railways — showcasing the latest achievements in scientific and technological innovation and offering high-caliber inspiration for the students' research. After the keynote speeches, the participating students visited the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Road and Bridge Engineering Disaster Prevention Technology together.
当日下午，学术对话会举行学生主题报告环节。我校国际学生代表SEANGKRU SRENG（辛海辰）结合自身研究成果，围绕交通基础设施智能建造与运维作学术汇报。汇报结束后，我校国际学生与来自兰州交通大学、东南大学、中南大学、西南交通大学、兰州大学、长安大学等国内交通强校的参会学者开展深入交流，互鉴科研经验，共同搭建跨院校、跨国界的学术交流平台。
In the afternoon, a student presentation session was held. SEANGKRU SRENG, as a representative of HIT's international students, delivered an academic presentation on the intelligent construction and operation and maintenance of transport infrastructure based on his own research findings. After the presentation, international students of HIT engaged in in-depth exchanges with participating scholars from Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Southeast University, Central South University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Lanzhou University, Chang'an University and other leading transportation universities across China, sharing research experience and jointly building a cross-institutional and cross-border platform for academic exchange.
9月20日，全体参会国际学生前往简牍博物馆开展历史文化国情教育。馆内，我校国际学生跟随讲解员触摸丝绸之路的真实面貌，在一枚枚简牍中感悟丝路文明与中华智慧。
On September 20, all the participating international students visited the Gansu Jiandu Museum for a historical and cultural session on national conditions. Inside the museum, guided by the docent, international students of HIT gained a firsthand sense of the Silk Road and appreciated the Silk Road civilization and Chinese wisdom inscribed on the bamboo and wooden slips.
此次学术交流活动是国际教育学院推进落实“感知中国”项目、拓宽国际学生学术视野、开展来华留学生国情教育的重要载体。未来，国际教育学院将持续搭建中外学生学术交流平台，在更广阔的舞台上展现哈工大国际学生风采，培育知华友华的高层次国际化人才。
This academic exchange event served as an important vehicle for the College of International Education to implement the“Experience China”program, broaden the academic horizons of international students, and promote national conditions education for international students in China. Looking ahead, the College of International Education will continue to build academic exchange platforms between Chinese and international students, showcase the excellence of international students of HIT on a broader stage, and cultivate high-caliber international talent who understand and befriend China.
